My SIFT experience
I have really enjoyed my time at SIFT. I think that this program has helped me get a good idea of what collage life is like. I have made new friends and found out that people from different parts of the state are the same as me in many ways. I think that it is great that we can go to the summer school and teach the younger children. This really helped me get a good idea of what teaching would be like. I enjoyed my time at the school and felt like I devolped a close bond with the students. Another great assigment that was the lesson plan. We had to make a lesson plan and teach it our class. For my lesson plan I taught the class people signs of Americain sign langauge then I had the class play singo (bingo). I would sign a word to them and they would have to mark it on the singo card. Right now we are working on a bulliton board. For my bullenton board my partner and I are going to to do different countries. This program has been fun and hopefully there will be a SIFT 2 for next summer.
